The FW46 FB model is a five-speed motor with 12 volts of power and 54 pounds of thrust, based on a 42-inch aluminum shaft construction. With renowned MotorGuide durability, the motor features foot- or hand-operated rack and pinion steering that's been in the MotorGuide line for more than 20 years, and is a simple and straightforward design known for its long-lasting durability. Go shallower, faster, and quieter with an all-new tapered hub and three-blade weed-free Machete III prop designed by Mercury propellers.

The unit is affixed to the boat via a Gator Flex 360 breakaway bow-mount with automatic reset, and its exclusive isolator design acts as a built-in shock absorber. The one-hand-operated bow mount is simple to operate and features a solid 21 Gator Spring Mount and extended twister-tiller handle, while its high-impact rubber construction is designed to flex in all directions to protect the motor lower unit and shaft from underwater obstructions.
